The TSX ended up today by +15.73 (+0.13%) to $12,542.15. My dividend portfolio also ended up by +643.28 (+0.70%)
I added more shares to 3 of my stocks today:
- Artis Real Estate Income Trust (AX.UN.TO) for $15.00/share
- Boston Pizza Income Fund (BPF.UN.TO) for $15.00/share
- Enbridge Income Fund (ENF.TO) for $21.28/share

Daily Dividend Portfolio Snapshot for January 24, 2012
The TSX dropped by -126.46 (-1.01%), and my dividend portfolio dropped by -267.02 (-0.30%). As the day went on I was down as much as -400.00 at one point so my dividend portfolio recovered a bit from its lowest point of the day.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) released news today that the global growth prospects had dimmed as the sovereign debt crisis in the euro zone entered a “perilous new phase.”
As a result of this news, more than 10 of my stocks in my dividend portfolio had their stock price drop more than 1% today.
It would have been a good day to increase my shares on all of them, but I was only able to buy one stock at this time:
- Boston Pizza Income Fund (BPF.UN.TO) for $14.73/share

Daily Dividend Portfolio Snapshot for January 18, 2012
The TSX ended up by +$94.69 (+0.77%) to 12,327.52. Unfortunately, my dividend portfolio didn't fair out well, ending -$681.24 (-0.77%).
On a side note, because of the drop of some of the stock prices, I purchased more AX.UN.TO, REI.UN.TO, and KEG.UN.TO. All three stocks fell over 1% today.

Daily Dividend Portfolio Snapshot for January 9, 2012
Even though the TSX was fairly stagnant on Monday, my dividend portfolio gained nicely. I also made some purchases today:
AX.UN.TO, Artis REIT. I purchased more shares to add to my "collection". The stock is uptrending with no noticeable signs of decline in the short term.
THI.TO, Tim Hortons Inc. The stock is struggling since the beginning of the year. I purchased some today even though my stock price indicators are showing some further downtrending. I'm not worried about this because THI.TO is a strong stock. The dividend yield is low hovering about 1.5%, but the growth is nice. As a long term stock it is a good pick for a dividend portfolio.

Daily Dividend Portfolio Snapshot for January 5, 2012
I wasn't looking to buy any stocks today, but I put in a buy limit for MRT.UN.TO this morning to see if it would go drop at least 1% today. I also put buy limits on REF.UN.TO and AX.UN.TO with the same intention of buying them if they dropped at least 1% today.
Only MRT.UN.TO dropped so those were the only stocks I bought today.
The TSX looked like it gonna be ending with a downtrend, but by midday the TSX just made it above 0 for a very small gain.
As for my dividend portfolio, it was a good day.

Daily Dividend Portfolio Snapshot for December 28, 2011
I was looking forward to the first trading day after the Christmas break. I planned to make a few changes to my dividend portfolio today.
PNG.TO completed its sale to ALA.TO so my shares were liquidated. Questrade automatically deposited the sale amount to my account today. Each sold for $36.75/share.
I finally sold off the remaining shares of K.TO and lost almost 15% from that investment. I am upset that it didn't do as well as I expected, but from looking at how it performed today, it stopped the bleeding on my dividend portfolio. K.TO dropped another 1% at the end of the trading day.
With the new balance of cash I put it in the stocks that have worked for me all year: T.TO, REI.UN.TO, KEG.UN.TO, ENF.TO, AX.UN.TO
I feel a lot better that K.TO is out of my dividend portfolio and is now filled with the stocks I always wanted to invest in.
Only a couple of more days until the end of the year totals. I'll be reviewing the monthly performance and the year performance next week.

I bought some stocks today: ENF.TO, TRP.TO, KEG.UN.TO, BPF.UN.TO, AX.UN.TO. The stock market was up today so hopefully I bought them at a good price.

A very large drop in my investments due to ENF.TO and K.TO.

ENF.TO dropped several times today making it pretty easy buying some shares this afternoon. They didn't release any negative press releases today so I don't know why the sudden drop in price. On the other hand, ENB.TO announced some optimistic news of reaching its guidance for Q3 and is raising its dividend by 15%. Maybe investors switched stocks for the other. More monthly dividend stocks for me 
In order to buy more ENF.TO shares at the low price, I had to sell some shares of JE.TO and ZWB.TO. I planned to decrease my investments into them because of the poor performance and noticeable signs of negative growth. I will lose higher yielding stocks for a lower yielding stock, but ENF.TO offers more stability and growth than JE.TO and ZWB.TO.
